So I just found the perfect college to go to. Cal State San Marcos.
So yeah and I can feel a change coming. Honestly I really think this is God’s Will. Over the next year or so I’m going to change. I’m going to grow closer to him and be ready to lead a group of Christians in spreading the Word through out Cal State San Marcos. Here’s what I gotta do:
- read the Bible daily, or at least more then once a week. (right now I read it about once a month)
- Pray for at least an hour daily.
- Do at least a thirty min devotion daily
- Do at least an hour reflection every Saturday.
- Be more open about my faith, not really a number on this.
I’m really looking to start a small Bible study that doesn’t harm the growth of the youth group. To go more in depth, with more peer leadership. But I don’t know if this is going to work. Maybe start a prayer group, where we gather for one hour weekly to pray for certain pray request. This is still in the mix. I really need to work on myself before I start any leadership. I’m starting all this right now. So tomorrow I’m going to have my first reflection hour. Sit down, open the Bible, turn off the cell phone and reflect. Maybe next week I’ll have it with another guy, not sure yet. And I’m working out a wake up schedule so I can wake up thirty mins early and do my daily devo. Just think about five verses for thirty mins. I’m almost to the hour long prayer. Maybe I’ll do that at night. I heard a story about a guy who would wake up four hours early just to pray. Thats what I want to be like.
So as this is coming to pass I ask you one question, will you pray? As well as that list above, here’s what I need prayer for:
- Prayer for me: just that I keep on going on and growing in him.
- Prayer for those God is rising up to join me.
- Protection for those God has chosen
- Softening of hearts for those who will hear us
- Wisdom for those who are making choices
- Clear the path for all of us coming together.
- That we wouldn’t be lukewarm Christians
- And just general prayer, anything that comes to mind.
